While there is little hope for recovery, their reminiscences about the past and enjoyment of the present are reminders that death is a normal part of life, and that death can have dignity.

Story: Bibiane (Marie-Josée Croze), a wealthy part-time model, questions her seemingly perfect life after she has a traumatic abortion. She succumbs to substance abuse and, while driving drunk one night, strikes a pedestrian and drives off.
The next morning, she learns of a man who died after a hit-and-run. Wracked with guilt, she attends the man's funeral. There, she meets his son, Evian (Jean-Nicolas Verreault), and the pair begin a romance. But Bibiane is afraid to tell Evian her dark secret.
Story: This experimental film by director Michael Snow features sensory commentary on life, virtual worlds, the environment, and filmmaking. Office workers (Kim Plate, Greg Hermanovic) appear indifferent, even as their clothes change while they wear them and the environment transforms as they interact with their surroundings. The digital world changes, too, as a family sits in the living room watching the sky on their television set, unaware of the shifting landscape around them.
